Water Research by Author and Professor Won Kim
Won H. Kim, currently a professor at the Department of Biochemistry of College of Medicine in Korea and author of the book, "The Water Cure", has also conducted research on electric water ionizers and published a book on electrolyzed reduced water. While he found electric ionizers were able to produce water that's effective for treating chronic diseases, he also discovered that the same water contains the memory of electromagnetic waves which can be harmful to the human body. In his groundbreaking book "Your Body's Many Cries For Water", Dr. F Batmanghelidj reasoned that many diseases are caused by the simple fact that we don't drink enough water. Dr. Abrams, author of "Smart Nutrition" cites the case of a schizophrenic elderly patient who was so dehydrated that ECT (electric shock therapy) could not work because he was too dry to carry a current, and yet he still lived. Dr. Theodore Baroody, author of "Alkalize or Die" takes the hydration argument a step further and says that we are dehydrated because we are acidic, and we are acidic because of the food we eat and the liquids we drink. Multi-Filtration System
Ceramic Pre-Filter
The first stage of the filter is manufactured with fine multi-pores to filter impurities down to a size of 0.1~0.2 microns. It has the function to remove impurities (sediment, rust, and polluted particles) and other harmful matters maximizing the water purification effect at the initial stage. Parasitic cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia which generally range in size from 3-7 microns are easily removed.

Activated Carbon/Dechlorination/Antimicrobial/Sterilizing Layer
Activated carbon increases the water purification via absorption of contaminants including TCM's, PCB's and pesticides. Activated carbon fibers are highly effective for the removal of chlorine, organic chemicals, odors, and pigments from water. This filter allows passage of calcium, magnesium, potassium and other natural minerals which are significant health boosters also giving the water mountain spring qualities.
Silica Layer

Filter Washing
Prior to Assembling
Ceramic Filter - Soak in tap water for five minutes, then assemble..
Carbon/Silica/Mineral Layed Filter - Remove plastic packaging and soak in tap water for two or three minutes, then rinse with flowing tap water and assemble.
Mineral Cartridge In White Plastic Housing - Mix water and citric acid (one teaspoon) or vinegar (1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) in a suitable container, Place cartridge in the water for a few minutes then gently swish for one minute, wash the cartridge with flowing tap water and place in water dispenser.
How To Wash During Use
Ceramic Filter - As debris and discoloration appears on the ceramic housing and the flow of water is inhibited, remove the ceramic filter with its attached housing from the dispenser, place in the sink and gently wash with a soft cloth and tap water.
Carbon Filter - This filter does not require washing..
Mineral Cartridge - Washing the cartridge every two weeks will increase the alkali (pH) and the oxidative reduction potential (ORP). Follow washing instructions for mineral cartridge as stated above.
Filter Replacement Schedule
The ceramic filter is washable and should be replaced yearly. Both the layered purifying filter and the mineral cartridge should be replaced after dispensing 1,980 gallons of water. Limited supplies for this offer.
