Activated Carbon/Dechlorination/Antimicrobial/Sterilizing Layer

Activated carbon increases the water purification via absorption of contaminants including TCM's, PCB's and pesticides. Activated carbon fibers are highly effective for the removal of chlorine, organic chemicals, odors, and pigments from water.  This filter allows passage of calcium, magnesium, potassium and other natural minerals which are significant health boosters also giving the water mountain spring qualities.

Silica Layer

Silica (quartz) is pure crystalline sand which is the most common mineral on the earth's surface and it works to improve microbial treatment effectiveness.

Zeolite Layer

This volcanic rock removes chloramines and odor while also improving taste.

Mineral Stones Layer

The interaction of these minerals with the water serves the following functions:

Increases the alkalinity thus reducing the acidic terrain of the body

Creates hydroxal ions which serve to eliminate free redicals

Carbon/Silica/Mineral Layed Filter - Remove plastic packaging and soak in tap water for two or three minutes, then rinse with flowing tap water and assemble.

Mineral Cartridge In White Plastic Housing - Mix water and citric acid (one teaspoon) or vinegar (1 part vinegar to 5 parts water) in a suitable container,  Place cartridge in the water  for a few minutes then gently swish for one minute, wash the cartridge with flowing tap water and place in water dispenser.

Carbon Filter  -  This filter does not require washing..

Filter Replacement Schedule

The ceramic filter is washable and should be replaced yearly. Both the layered purifying filter and the mineral cartridge should be replaced after dispensing over 1800 gallons of water.
